May 26, 2026: Still Stickin’ To Home

Despite a nice sunny and warmer day, the Kestrel chicks remained in their nest box! So, Fledge Watch will continue tomorrow!

A seemingly uncomfortable sleeping position, followed by a brief frenzy of activity over a possible snack.
I had the pleasure of seeing the Father Kestrel bring these two lizards, about 30 minutes apart. But, the chicks must not be all that hungry, given their lack of interest?
This afternoon, looking out and exercising seems to be preferred over eating.
Another night trying to keep warm together.
