May 24, 2026: More Peeking Out

On this yet another cold and very windy day, the Kestrel chicks alternated peeking out of the nest box with eating the parents’ food deliveries and keeping warm.

The male chicks spends some time peeking out.
Mom delivers some prey, but it is getting crowded and competition is fierce.
The chicks have tugs-of-war over food.
The box sways in the wind, and a female Kestrel takes in the scenery from the nest box opening.
