May 15, 2026: Life Continues

By morning, there was no sign of the deceased Kestrel chick. Presumably it was consumed. The remaining four chicks appeared to do well today, with more preening activities between frequent episodes of feeding pandemonium.

A new day dawns, with “The Final Four”.
The (very handsome!) Father Kestrel was again briefly caught on camera.
